How to get around in Zagreb

Due to its position between the mountain and the river, Zagreb is predominantly elongated in the east-west direction. Most distinctive landmarks for the orientation are: TV tower on mountain top, cathedral towers, river Sava…
To find your own way around, there is an interactive map of Zagreb here.
City centre is connected with the neighbouring quarters by the tram network. For further connections with the remote quarters and suburbs there are bus lines at the tram turning points. You can find the plan of the tram network with the list of bus lines here. Public transport company ZET has kindly granted free tram transport for all meeting participants from August 30 to September 1. Upon request, you will have to show the accreditation badge to the ticket inspectors.

How to get to the Faculty

Take any one of tram lines numbers 4, 7, 11, or 12 (coloured yellow or brown on the map above), heading east from the city centre (direction Dubrava or Dubec). Exit from the tram at the stop named Ravnice (second stop after you have passed by the entrance to the park Maksimir on your left and football stadium on your right). From this point it will take only 5-10 minutes to get to the Faculty.
You can find map of the Faculty here. The venue is in the building designated by number 6 on the map, tram stop is in the lower left corner. However, here are the detailed instructions:
After leaving the tram, cross the road (across tram lines) and look for the sign “Agronomski fakultet” written on the big wooden board. Just to the left from the sign there is a paved pathway. Follow this pathway, and along the way you will find the signs pointing into the direction of the venue.
